INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Margarine or butter
- 3/4 cup Sugar, brown; packed
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 3/4 cup Flour, all purpose
- 2 cups Oats, old fashioned
- 2 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt; (optional)
- 1 tbsp Sugar

DIRECTIONS
- Set the oven to 375 degrees F, Lightly oil your cookie sheets.
- Soften the butter until it becomes creamy and then pour in the brown sugar and ¾ cup of granulated sugar, while continuously beating until the texture becomes frothy, mix in the egg and then whisk them vigorously.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, a tsp cinnamon, soda and salt and then put them over carefully into the sugar mixture. When they are thoroughly combined.
- Drop a tablespoon of batter into a lightly oiled cookie sheet making a couple of inches space in between each piece.]
- Mix the rest of the sugar and cinnamon then dust it into the cookies.
- Place the sheet inside the oven and let them cook for eight to ten minutes. Place into wire rack for further cooling.
