Every holiday season, Dr. Michael makes this extremely delicious toast as his Christmas gift and fortunately every year we are included on his Christmas list!

INGREDIENTS 

• 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
• 1 egg
• 1/8 cup water
• 1 cup milk
• 3 tablespoons shortening
• 3 tablespoons white sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup cornmeal
• 3 1/2 cups bread flour

Put all the ingredient on the bread machine plate as directed by the machine producer, then set off the machine to the Basic or white setting, and then push the Start button. Remove it from the pan and then cool it down on the racks. You can use a foil to wrap it up then store or serve.
