I can’t get enough of this delicious bread recipe that adds a subtle touch of flavor of cocoa and almond.

INGREDIENTS

* 1 cup warm milk (70° to 80°)
* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 1 egg
* 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/4 cup baking cocoa
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 3 cups plus 2 tablespoons bread flour
* 2-1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

• Put all the ingredients in a bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Choose the Basic Bread cycle. Decide on the Crust Color and Loaf Size, if available.
• Bake according to recommended settings and check the dough from time to time if it would require adding 2 tablespoons of water or flour.
• Makes one loaf.
