    Classic Fruit Bread Recipe

    This is indeed very basic but with added flavorings for your enjoyment.

    INGREDIENTS

    3 cups all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 eggs
    1 cup shredded apple
    3/4 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    DIRECTIONS

    • Prepare the oven to 350 degrees F settings. Have a 4-1/2 x 8-1/2 inch greased loaf pan ready.
    • In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, sugar, oil, eggs, apple, walnuts and vanilla until the dry ingredients are moistened. Transfer into the prepared pan and bake for about 40 minutes.
