INGREDIENTS
- 2 c Old-fashioned oats
- 3/4 c Whole almonds; halved
- 1/2 c Sweetened flaked coconut
- 1/2 c Raw cashews
- 1/3 c Firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 ts Ground allspice
- 1 ts Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c Unsalted butter
- 2 tb Honey
- 1 c Packed pitted dates, each cut crosswise into thirds

DIRECTIONS
- Set your oven to 300 degrees F and then combine the first seven listed ingredients into a big mixing container.
- In a saucepan dissolve the butter over low flame and then add in the granola mixture. Pour this mixture over the cookie sheet.
- Place the batter into the cookie sheet and then place it inside the oven and let it cook for about twenty minutes and then layer the top with dates and then continue cooking for another fifteen minutes and then cool it down.
