    Breakfast in a Muffin Recipe

    This recipe makes unsweetened muffin that are so quick to fix when you require a wake up meal on the go.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup whole wheat flour
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 4 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 2 eggs, divided
    • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
    • 4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

    DIRECTIONS

      Using a large mixing container, mix together the first five listed ingredients before adding in the milk and one egg until the texture turns dampen. Pour the batter over the muffin tins. In a separate bowl, whisk the cheese, and another egg, add in the cheddar cheese and the seasoned salt mix them well together before tossing in the bacon. Place about a couple of spoonful over the muffin batter then cook at 425 degrees F for about fifteen to twenty minutes then serve them warm.
