For less than the cost of a Big Mac, fries and a Coke, you can buy a loaf of fresh bread and some good cheese or roast beef, which you will enjoy much more.

This recipe makes popovers that are perfect when dished out during your afternoon chat with friends and loved ones. It is paired with a dressed salad and your favorite tea.

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
    • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cooked
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
    • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
    • 1 tablespoon minced onion
    • 1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls

    DIRECTIONS

    • Set your oven to 350 degrees F.
    • Ina moderate sized bowl, mix I the chicken, cream cheese, parsley, onion and sesame seeds. Blend thoroughly.
    • Get a package of a cinnamon roll but do not slit them up into triangles, allow them to remain as a paired triangle making four squares. Seal seams with your hand then place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the middle of every square then roll it to make it look like a flower petal.
    • Put each one of a lightly oiled baking sheet then place them inside the oven and allow cooking until the color turns golden brown.
