    Bistro Apple Pizza Recipe

    INGREDIENTS

      • 2 tsp. garlic, minced
      • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
      • 1 12-inch prepared pizza dough crust
      • 2 cups fresh spinach, coarsely chopped
      • 1 1/2 cups Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, or Granny Smith apples cored, peeled and thinly sliced (or chopped)
      • 1 cup shredded low-fat, part skim Mozzarella cheese
      • 1 cup crumbled Blue, Gorgonzola or Roquefort cheese
      • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
      • 1 tsp. dried leaf oregano
    DIRECTIONS

    • Set your oven to 450 degrees F.
    • In a skillet pan sauté the garlic in olive oil for a minute or two over moderate flame.
    • Coat the pizzas crust with olive oil and then layer it with spinach and then apples.
    • Combine together the blue cheese, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese together and then layer them on top of the pizza and then with oregano.
    • Allow to cook for twelve to fifteen minutes just until the cheeses have melted and the crust turns brown.
