A real topper for the entire family. We never grow tired of having this on the table.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 large egg beaten
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter
3 1/2 cups white (all-purpose) flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast
Filling:
1 1/2 cups chopped apple
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 to 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed (optional)

DIRECTIONS
- Put all the ingredients in a bread machine pan as recommended in the manual.
- Choose the Dough function and start. Once done, invert dough on a floured surface. Cover and leave it for 10 minutes.
- Knead in the filling, adding flour as needed. Form a loaf shape for dough and put it into a 9 x 5-inch greased loaf pan. Tent with a towel and set in a warm place, allowing it to rise an inch above the pan.
- Place it on the lower rack of the oven and bake for 30 minutes Remove from pan and cool over wire rack.
- Makes 1 loaf.
