    Apple Raisin Bread Recipe

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 1/2 cups flour
    • 2 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    • 2/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1 cup rolled oats
    • 1 1/2 cups grated apple
    • 1/4 cup raisins
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    DIRECTIONS

    • Set your oven to 350 degrees F.
    • Using a big mixing container, mix together the baking powder and soda, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, oats and brown sugar and then add in the oil, milk, raisins, apples and eggs.  Stir them well.
    • Place the batter into a lightly oiled pan and then place it into the oven and let it cook for fifty five to sixty minutes. Place it into the wire rack for further cooling.
