    Almond Ricotta Custard Recipe

    INGREDIENTS

      • 1 c Ricotta cheese
      • 1 c Evaporated milk
      • 3 Eggs; beaten
      • 3/4 c Sugar
      • 1/2 tsp Almond extract
      • Cinnamon or nutmeg
      • 1 tsp Lemon juice
      • 1 tsp Almonds; thin sliced
    DIRECTIONS

    • Set your oven to 350 degrees F and squash the ricotta cheese.
    • Scald the milk and add in the whisked eggs and then place them into the food blender and then toss in the remaining ingredients and then mix.
    • Place the mixture into a lightly oiled baking pan and then sprinkle it with nutmeg or cinnamon and then layer the top with almonds.
    • Place the pan inside the oven along with a pan with half full of hot water on the lower rack and then let it cook for about forty five minutes. Set it aside to cool down before handing it out.
